Intaka Island
Located in Century City, just a short drive from Cape Town’s city centre, Intaka Island is a hidden gem for birdwatching. This 16-hectare wetland reserve is home to over 200 bird species, making it one of the best places in Cape Town for bird enthusiasts. The island features a variety of habitats, including reedbeds, salt marshes, and open water, which attract an array of birds.
